This is one of the best isekai I've read in a while, and I've read many. There's a lot of depth and nuance. Kid gets reincarnated as a starving farmer and start selectively breeding crops to obtain food. From there it scales a lot. There's many things that you don't fully understand at the start and then get progressively explained. The magic system and world building is really well done, as far as I've seen. I think it's so enjoyable for me personally, because it has elements of economics and city building. The first chapters are really focussed on ingenius way to make money, andthey're a delight to read.

But in the end it's the execution that makes a good story, and it's really well executed, and also the characters.
the secondary characters Pov give a lot of insight.
Some parts of the manga pose some interesting moral questions. There's often no clear cut good and bad. The MC isn't flawless.
So, I think it's a good read, as far as isekai goes.
