In this case, linked to the Record of Ragnarok universe, the premise could even work as a fun supplement or interesting extra material for more engaged fans. But the end result falls far short of that. In practice, the content is shallow. Instead of expanding the universe, bringing relevant behind-the-scenes information, or better exploring the characters, the special is limited torecapping already known points, and in a rather uninspired way. There's no depth, no new perspectives, and, most importantly, no sense of "this was worth watching." It seems more like filler than something designed to truly add value.

The use of the chibi style is competent within the context of the show. The animation is simple, but well-executed for this format, with exaggerated expressions and a more comedic tone. The problem is that this, in itself, doesn't sustain interest. The humor isn't particularly memorable, and the interactions rarely go beyond okay. For those who already dislike this type of more caricatured approach, the experience can become even more tedious.

Another point is that, even as light material, it fails to be engaging. There are specials that work precisely because they embrace the absurd, meta-humor, or completely outlandish situations. Here, everything sounds too safe, too predictable, and consequently, forgettable.

In the end, there's that feeling of disposable content. It's not offensively bad, but it also offers no reason to be watched, unless you're an extreme completist or want to consume absolutely everything related to the work.

Esse tipo de especial segue aquela fórmula bem conhecida, personagens em versão chibi, quebrando a quarta parede ou interagindo de forma leve enquanto comentam eventos, curiosidades ou conceitos do anime principal. No caso aqui, ligado ao universo de Record of Ragnarok, a proposta até poderia funcionar como um complemento divertido ou um material extra interessante para fãs mais engajados. Mas o resultado final passa longe disso.

O conteúdo, na prática, é raso. Em vez de expandir o universo, trazer bastidores relevantes ou explorar melhor os personagens, o especial se limita a recapitular pontos já conhecidos, e de forma pouco inspirada. Não há aprofundamento, não há novas perspectivas e, principalmente, não há aquele senso de “isso aqui valeu a pena assistir”. Parece mais um preenchimento de conteúdo do que algo pensado para realmente agregar valor.

Outro ponto é que, mesmo como material leve, ele falha em ser envolvente. Existem especiais que funcionam justamente por abraçar o absurdo, o meta-humor ou situações completamente fora da curva. Aqui, tudo soa seguro demais, previsível demais e consequentemente, esquecível.

No fim, fica aquela sensação de conteúdo descartável. Não é ofensivamente ruim, mas também não oferece motivo algum para ser assistido, a não ser que você seja um completista extremo ou queira consumir absolutamente tudo relacionado à obra.

Nota: 3/10. É bem produzido dentro da estética chibi, mas isso não compensa a falta de relevância e de entretenimento. Não recomendo.
