Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199: Hoshimeguru Hakobune (2014) Do I wish I saw this before finishing off the season? Yes absolutely. One reason, however, I am glad I didn't was because although it was pretty good it was not quite as good as the main show. This is because being a film being shoved in between a series it is rushed. You get some pretty quick-moving storytelling and things are skipped over. One minute it's wow! look at that giant structure and next minute like it is just a background object. The story is just, oh look more bad guys but now they are like Vikings witha big gun.

The art is the same as the main show which is good since it slots in nicely.

The sound is the same feeling again which is fantastic.

Characters develop like crazy as previously and this time you get a deeper connection between the main villain and the Yamato crew.

Somehow, people are becoming friends when they suddenly forget the evil the bad guys have done to many people around the universe, concerning since it's like they had a big part in mass genocide but now we are friends. Just keep that in mind when watching the show.

9/10. Worth watching absolutley.
