Junji Ito's Cat Diary: Yon & Mu · review
Only a short review as it is only a short manga. Junji Ito takes his signature artstyle, and the trials and tribulations that cat owners face everyday and mashes them together in a beautiful little read. It's essentially the reality and comedy around owning cats, drawn in the most grotesque and horrendous way, and it's perfect. There's a little spread around the middle of the manga which shows the cats in real life too, which I really appreciated- and have to say, they look identical to their drawn counterparts. This may be my highest rate Junji Ito work yet, and I have no regrets aboutthat. Definitely worth a read, it's super quick and you'll want more straight after.
