Review of Hunter x Hunter

This is my second review forgive me if i make any mistakes Hunter X Hunter is another popular shonen anime series that i really enjoyed watching i first discovered Hunter X Hunter after watching Yu Yu Hakusho another classic and my favorite anime created by Yoshiro Togashi Who Also Created Hunter X Hunter after watching the first episode of Hunter X Hunter i was really amazed by it and immediately interested in it it's really unique although it doesn't have alot of action in like the first 20 or 30 episodes it's still entertaining and fun to watch just a lot of interesting stuff inthis series what i was really intrigued by the most was the themes of the series it's all about survival adventure challenges you will see a lot of that in this series

Story It Starts Off With A 12 year old boy named Gon who's the son of a hunter and soon wishes to follow in his father's footsteps and become a hunter himself so he can one day meet his father but before that he must participate in the Hunter Exam in order to become a professional licensed Hunter during the Hunter Exam Gon befriends Leorio who wishes to become a doctor Kuripika who wants to become a black list Hunter so he can get revenge on those who killed his people And Killua a boy who comes from a family of assassin's who has a close bond with Gon The Four friends struggle and encounter many trials challenges and life and death situations in order to become hunters. The four main characters are obviously similar to the main characters of Yu Yu Hakusho
Gon=Yusuke
Leorio=Kuwabara
Kuripika=Kurama
Killua=Hiei

Plot It can be weird and confusing at times but the plot is really interesting i really enjoyed the Hunter Exam arc the first arc of the series it really challenges the characters and pushes them to their limits you will see bizzare and yet interesting phases trials both physical and psychological challenging although i was really disappointed on how this arc ended i expected more from this arc but it's still good the rest of the arcs are okay but the Hunter Exam is easily the best arc in the series 8/10

Sound i watched this in English the dub is not too bad not too great either but the dialogue makes it worth watching 7/10

Characters a lot of the characters are unique colorful and complex especially Hisoka who the gang meets during the Hunter Exam a very bizzare character can't really figure him out and what his methods truly are and that makes him a frightening and yet interesting character 9/10

Art The Artwork is well done it gets even better later on 9/10

Overall Hunter X Hunter is a great enjoyable adventure based shonen anime i plan on watching the 2 ovas and the critically acclaimed remake of the original series if you never watched Hunter X Hunter before you should check it out 8/10
