Review of Koi Kaze
Now I usually do not post reviews on anime, but this one was a real touchy subject. I am not okay with incest at all but the realism and emotion that is portrayed by both characters is simply outstanding. The story drags you in an emotional roller coaster as you experience what reality is like for siblings who fall in love with each other. The subject is very awkward in a way, but you see that the characters themselves know that their situation is wrong. As episodes go by, you become a part of this forbidden love that is so tender and sweet but atthe same time, it is very sad and heartbreaking. The struggles and obstacles that the characters have to embrace to battle their feelings against society is almost surreal due to the fact that sometimes your heart will battle your mind. This series was very serious and I really enjoyed that aspect of it. I am truly at a loss of words to describe how I feel, because even though the concept of incest is wrong, sometimes you can't help but fall in love sometimes even if you are completely against it. The series goes to show that human emotion is really powerful, and the author uses that idea to formulate a story such as Koi Kaze.
