Sand Chronicles is a realistic manga about love, relationships and about being abandoned. Sand Chronicles is about girl called Ann she lives in a place called Shimane when her mother kills herself she is left behind with her grandparents and with an hourglass which she got from her mother and it's very precious to her. Soon after she meets a boy called Daigo and they fall in love but will everything stay ok or will she fall apart because of her mother's death. Overall I think this is a great manga where you relate to because it's so realistic, the only tihng I don't likeis that it's too dramatic at some points
