Horobishi Kemonotachi no Umi · review
This is a strange collection of single-chapter short stories, mainly depicting man-made horrors of different varieties. Generally, I'd consider it a sort of gathering of urban legends. Most of them are related to either WW2 or the Cold War in some fashion, and almost all of them are related to naval combat or other naval enterprise. The stories are good, and the art is stellar, however the impact they have is pretty limited since they are all one-shots, with no connection to each other and no continuations. It kind of leaves you wanting more, but there is no more to get. I can heartily recommend this mangaif you are interested in modern horror, or if you are a naval enthusiast of any kind. It's pretty good, and a short quick read.
