Review of Durarara!!

"Durarara!!" is a fast paced anime with a very large cast. Very similar to Ryohogo Narita's other work "Baccano!". Within the mysterious city of Ikebukuro are the the entangled stories of a Dullahan working as an underground transporter, a mad scientist, gang leaders, a malicious information broker, his worst enemy who has the strength to lift a vending machine and throw it across the street, and the protagonist Ryuugamine, Mikado who's excited to become a part of the madness. Due to the fast pace and many storylines this is definitely not an anime for first timers but if you're looking for achange of pace from your traditional story and some of the most interesting characters you'll ever see than "Durarara!!" is for you.

The action scenes, music, and overall look of the anime are fantastic and surprisingly fresh. Just watch the first episode, you will be hooked.
