Do you like space battles? If you like space battles, you will like Starship Operators. It takes these seriously, has its own sci-fi concepts, and tries to bring a range of styles and tactical options into play. If your into milscifi, give it a try. However, it has other issues. It tries to adapt an entire light novel series in 13 episodes; character arcs, just like the ship, can surpass light speed. It sometimes has difficulties balancing its mix of tones. Most significantly, the politics underlying the war and situation are actually well thought out. But you don't find this out until episode 10. Its a bizarredecision that undermines half the series, as they are fighting a war you don't understand.
