Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

***SPOILERS*** As time goes on, loved ones will eventually have to pass on to another life. However, it happened abruptly for these best friends, and as a result they've fallen apart as years went on. Eventually, they find their way back to each other, filled with nostalgia and hope. P.S. Watch if you feel like letting out a good cry, followed by staring at the ceiling. Story: 9/10 I fairly enjoyed it more than I thought I would, since it wasn't super drama packed or whatnot. However, it was more than fun, cute and touching enough to have me continue watching; also has suspense and few mini plottwists! It's a beautiful story that shows the power of friendship.

Art: 10/10
Really nice art with the characters and scenery! Nothing I would change about it, it's definitely high quality. The opening and ending has really nice art too, everything is so well put together.

Sound: 10/10
Definitely grew to loving the theme song, who wouldn't? As well as the music in scenes and ending. Character's voices were nice too, really fits them well with their personalities. I cry every time I hear the opening.... don't judge me.

SUCH. GREAT. CHARACTER. DEVELOPMENT. It's really good. Like, really good. Everyone has great personalities that compliments one another really well - no wonder they're all best friends!

I enjoyed it thoroughly - not a time went by where I was bored. The story progression keeps you wanting more.

Overall: 9/10
It's pretty darn good. Even though her death is never fully shown, it doesn't need to be; the silence between all of them when the topic comes up clearly shows that it was tragic. Of course, they must overcome their troubles together, and only together.
