What can I say? I cried. Oh, yes, I cried... You know, I'm not one of those people who cry about everything or even by seeing every romantic or tragical story. I rarely cry watching movies (although I can get emotional inside). But this time I couldn't stand it. Ano Hana (I won't even try saying the full name of the anime) is an essentially buddhist story, which personally doesn't attract me because of my personal beliefs. But by no way that stopped me from enjoying watching this anime and being amazed by a beautiful story and a teary ending. What matters most is: if you started watchingAno Hana you may be thinking something like: "This anime seems nothing like what people told me. It's not very dramatic, it doesn't appeal to me. The story has nothing special." Well, then, I gotta tell you: please, I said, PLEASE, don't quit seeing this anime. You'll get surprised with how a normal (sometimes even boring) story can become a success with a huge ending.

I won't even tell exactly what happens in the story, because in a tiny anime like this one, every little piece of the plot is important (including the main subject of the story, which can't be noticed in the beggining, since it is explained a little later in episode 1).

I can only tell you one thing. If you are a drama/tragedy fan, or if you're simply looking for an original, different story, good enough to make you smile and think a little bit, watch Ano Hana. And, in the end, you'll then be instantly placed into one of these subdivisions:

1) YOU CRIED: congratulations, you're a human being.
2) YOU DIDN'T CRY: be careful, you're either a heartless robot or a dangerous sociopath with no feelings at all.

Choose! :)
