Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

What if you could say goodbye to a friend that had died? What would you say? Could you say goodbye? This anime asks these questions and is very emotional. Each character has to face their own grief and the group has to come together to grant the missing member's wish and let out their emotion. It makes me sad knowing that in real life, you never get a second chance to say goodbye. And if you did get that chance, would you even be able to say it? Could you bring yourself to say goodbye to that person? The story can't close and a new page of lifebe written without letting go and coming to terms with the past. We can only do our best to properly lay to rest those that we love and make them smile up above.
