Review of Monster
Monster start off quite strong, more like Shakespeare's Macbeth with duty and honor, clashing with humanity and fairness. The first few episodes are gripping, the sound quality great, the character interesting and the storyline as exciting as an olden novel. Then it slowly starts grinding on you. The storyline drags too long, becomes repetitive, the same dilemna repeating itself over and over again, until, as a viewer, you find yourself getting bored and a bit agitated and start fast forwarding episodes. Furthermore, a twist to the plot brings some kind of relief to the monotony of this series, but it doesn't last long, as it becomes repetitive again. Ibelieve that this could have been a great series had it been shortened to fewer episodes, that left the viewer engaged.
