Lupin III: Part II · review
I really am very new to anime. I was really only familiar with a few of them before I happened to come across Lupin III part 2 streaming on PlutoTV. I probably would not have stopped to watch it if there wasn't an insane action sequence on a zeppelin going on where Lupin and his gang were attempting to rescue Fujiko from Professor Lonebach in episode 145 all the while trying to avoid being captured by Inspector Zenigata. It wasn't dubbed into English (which at the time was pretty important to me when it came to actually continuing to watch the show), but the actionsequence was so zany and impressive, I just had to see how it ended and by that time, I was hooked.
Lupin is such a fun series, particularly the Red Jacket episodes. I would recommend it to anyone, even if they're not a fan of anime, because it's got enough that it will hook you in. Definitely give this one a try if you haven't.
