Review of Gintama

this is my review for the entire Gintama series not the "Gintama" anime. this anime is goated (Greatest of All Time'd?) as the zoomer's would say. Unlike Demon Slayer , Jujutsu Kaisen or Attack On Titan this series is actually one of the best series ever made. Our main character is Sakata Gintoki and he is the owner of "Yoruzuya" or Odd Jobs, there is 2 more main characters who are Shimura Shinpachi and Kagura. The story takes place in Edo (Samurai Country). Edo gets raided by Amantos (Aliens) and they take over the government and they ban the use of real samurai swords on the streets. Sakata Gintokimeets with Shimura Shinpachi on a cafe where Shinpachi works.
Gintoki orders a chocolate parfait his parfait was spilled by some troublesome Amanto and so Gin-san gets angry and he beats the amantos with a wooden sword and runs the scene. This ends up in Shinpachi getting fired.

Shinpachi became a fan of Gintoki after that incident but Shinpachi's Older Sister Shimura Tae beat Gintoki. Gintoki offered Shinpachi to work at Yorozuya.

And they meet with Kagura when Gin-san hit Kagura with his scooter.

Gintama is a comedy series. Don't expect it to be action full anime (I mean last 50-60 episodes are full of action) you would get bored if you wanted action but got comedy for 250+ episodes so you should watch it as a comedy show and it would be infinitely better.
