This is mostly filling in the gaps the original 1992 one had. I strongly recommend binge watching the original and then this one. The only improvement we have in this one is the art and coloring in general, i also like Riki`s image in this one more, but Iason`s in the 1992 one. It feels less lewd and less emotional in general compared to the 1992 one as well. The ending is crap, basically its non-existent. Where as the original had such a strong ending. You can enjoy the original without watching this one but you cant enjoy this one without watching the original.
