Review of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

I sincerely don't understand why people like this so much. The biggest problem are the characters, the driving force of a story. I mean what does this story provide anyway? The adventures of a crazy possesive bitch? Is that comedy? Or the fact that every person in the SOS Brigade is just babysitting a ticking time bomb? My biggest problem with this show is how they romanticize toxic relationship. Hell even asuka from eva was more better than this bitch. Atleast asuka had a reason for being a the broken person she was. But haruhi? She's just bored. Bravo, an excellent reason for being one of the most unlikable characters ihave ever seen.

Now coming to the supporting cast. This is another aspect i don't understand why people genuinly say its 10/10.
Was there any character depth? No.
Was there any character development? No.
Just what makes this anime so special that people can gloss over these core issues? I seriously have no idea.

The only character who was enjoyable was the mc. From his normal yet unique character i had hoped that he would set her straight but nope just go along with her highness the bitch.

Come on people just how come there are actual people who find haruhi a really cute character?

And the plot conveniently tells us that going against her is basically death.

The reason I'm focusing on haruhi solely is because she is the driving force of the story and the others are well completely forgettable.

Heard the movie is great thats the only thing remaining to watch but i dont see myself loving the whole show just because of a single movie.

So guys just watch something else there's literally tons of better shows than this. Hell, just go read doujinshi. It has better plot than this shit
