Good lord. This movie is what I can only describe as one good fever dream. Kind of like a dream that you had while running a high fever enough to make you delirious, but also taking some sort of hallucinogenic drug to make you imagine some creative stuff. For instance, I personally enjoy that the Hell's Academy's Principal, a red demonic figure named "Helvis" who has the iconic white outfit and pompadour of Elvis Presley, has mini pompadours coming out of his nipples. This anime is seriously fast paced. People's alliances with other characters are flimsy at best and after a while the whole plot descendsinto chaos. It is a blink-and-you-miss-it kind of plot.

The artwork is very stylized and not for everyone, but it grew on me. Especially because the animation itself is really well done. In the fight scenes, you can feel the excitement.

Don't come for good pacing or relatable character development. Come for the party.
