With the description above, the story is rather nice for what it is. This anime feels a lot like the Chobits series without the length of it. They manage to fill in a lot of the missing background without using a lot of time. Character development between the two is rather nice for how little time there is. You do not learn a whole lot due to the time constraint, however, this makes due with the time it has. Art and music play well together and adds to the anime without saying anything. There is absolutely no difference with this vs the OVA. There is no Movie itis just the OVA.
