Review of Chainsaw Man

I spent the whole show prepping this review, trying to think of some justification as to why I'm able to enjoy something like Higurashi and Deadpool, but I wasn't able to enjoy this. And... I got nothin. It just didn't click with me and I apologize if that's frustrating and contradictory to the other pieces of media I've consumed. I just couldn't vibe with this one. I still stand by the visuals in this show being fantastic, which was the whole reason why I wanted to watch it in the first place. The lighting and colors specifically are unbelievably gorgeous. But I just couldn't bringmyself to care about the story at all when its being led by characters that just have nothing to them other then "i want to kill and touch bewbies, plz". I know that the story is far from over, so there's probably a lot more depth that I've yet to realize. But I don't know. I just kinda need more to work with right from the get-go than just mindless gore and sexual harassment. If the anime ever continues, I'm gonna have to force myself to keep up with it week to week, because I can't see myself binging another season of this.
