Good, but far from the best. First of all, I'm glad that they decided to make the first season 24 episodes. With the way that episode 12 was concluded, it actually made me feel like they were just going to end it there since I didn't know how many episodes they were making. I'm not going to spoil what happened but let's just say that it's the beginning of a new rage and they could've easily just split the season up into two parts by ending the first half right then and there. And now with that out of the way... -The artis whatever, not really what you should be focusing on. Although I will say, it's definitely unique compared to a lot of other anime.
-The sound is good, nothing too amazing.

-The story is alright, it has a nice pace and it's easy to follow and no I'm not going to be explaining what it's about since that's the synopsis job, so just go read that if you haven't already. The only bad thing that I can say about the story without getting too specific or by spoiling too much is that you don't want to use 100% of your brain power while watching. That sounds so much more negative now that I'm actually reading it out loud but what I mean to say is that the anime is best watched when you're taking a break from something. I'm saying this because I was fully woke when I watched it and when I found some nitpicks about the MC's powers for example, that became the only thing I could think about.
It's obviously just a story and there are some supernatural and fantasy elements mixed with action and drama mixed with Manga/Anime, so it's bound to be a little over the top at times, especially so during the fighting scenes and how the characters act in general.
But.....

-Starting with the characters (and this ties in with the "but" at the end up above this). -Putting it as kindly as I can, Takemichi(MC) is the worst character that I've seen in a while. Not only is he super annoying in every way, but he's also the weakest and dumbest character out of the cast. Sure it's nice that we aren't only getting the same isekai anime with the nonrelatable, perfect and OP MC but with a reskin every single season, but Takemichi is way too far from being just the opposite of that. There are a few things about him that some might be able to relate to, but that's basically all he has as a character. They keep calling him a cry-baby hero or whatever in the series because every single conflict ends by him crying, talking about some obvious things that anyone, had they just stopped to think for a moment, -would have been able to realize. He has the power to go back in time, but no one who's watching the series is expecting him to be the smartest or strongest character there is because no one really knows what to expect about the series in the first place (apart from what they know that's mentioned in the synopsis). Time travel isn't very hard to understand but it's very hard to get it right. That's why there isn't a lot of big series out there that is centered around time travel. Steins;Gate (a personal favorite) -has probably been mentioned as an example already in a few reviews of TR but that just goes to show how hard it is to make a good series about the topic.
As I mentioned, the series is very over the top. The characters are powerful enough to send each other flying and they're also very tough and durable. Takemichi's super power besides time travelling is also as mentioned, his high level of speech (apparently), -but every time he uses that power... Well let's just say that the things that he says are very overexaggerated. He tends to stretch the truth of something and make it sound so much worse than it actually is. But then again, it is an anime after all so it isn't exactly uncommon for any character to do this. Or at least that's what I would like to say if it wasn't for the fact that we're talking about Takemichi here. I'm not saying that the difference between what Takemichi does and what a normal anime character would do during a speech is as big as the difference in strenght between Saitama and Mumen Rider from One Punch Man. All I'm saying is that he can completely ruin a perfectly good scene just by opening his mouth. You literally can't take him seriously at all.

This might be a slight spoiler but I'll try to leave as much information out as possible so Warning I guess:

-There is this one scene in which someone is literally beating someone else to death and a lot of people including Takemichi are just standing there and watching as it's happening. Takemichi, who's aware that the one on the receiving end is going to die if he doesn't do anything to stop it, is literally standing there having an inner monologue with himself instead of actually doing anything. No one is going to question him if he does try to stop it from happening and some might actually help if he asks them to help him.
So yeah, while this is happening, you get to hear Takemichi's thoughts saying that he couldn't stop the death from happening and that he failed his mission of saving the person (again, WHILE the person is still being beaten and very much ALIVE), -instead of actually just trying to save them. He's beyond useless and it hurts to watch him.

(Spoiler over)

So then again, his stupidity baffles me. I can't say anything about how shit he is at fighting, just that you'd think he's trying to become a helicopter and the only reason as to why he hasn't already died is because of his tenacity or something. And then for the only thing that the man can actually use (his mouth ~nothing dirty~), -is ruining half the scenes because you can't take a word that he's saying seriously. My man is going on about some Fairy tail, power of friendship in one moment and in the next when someone's life could be on the line, he flips a coin on whether or not he should fight or pretend that he did everything that he could.

The other characters are alright though.
