Review of Don't Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro

to be fair, when i first watched the 1st episode, i thought to myself 'damn this is one annoying girl.' but as the series progressed i'm so happy the characters got development and by the end of the show i no longer thought of her as annoying. story: 7.4/10. It really isn't that bad, even though it's similar to Teasing Master Takagi san (i think that's the name). in the course of 12 eps, the characters had really round and sound development, and not just their individual character, but also the chemistry between them was cute and it was no longer rude or annoying towatch. it definitely had some cute moments here and there, and the side characters really live up to their name as side characters, as they helped the chemistry between mc and the girl (nagatoro) to happen.

art: 8.5/10. i love how the art was drawn, especially the President's art ;) jkjk the art in the opening was really colorful, blitzy, and different; i feel like that was the one thing i looked forward to in the series. the animation was also okay.

sound: 7/10. nothing too particular from this perspective. the mc also didn't have like an emotional moment or smth, but the feeling of nervousness was really conveyed to the watchers. his stuttering, or whenever his feelings changed, it was totally hear-able in his voice. the va for nagatoro also did a wonderful job voicing her, as well as singing the opening.

character: 7/10. kinda normal, nothing too out of the blue, your typical quiet introverted senpai meets loud extroverted girl. their development was awesome though. you can really feel that by the end of the series they changed, and became really different from what they were in the beginning. i especially like how in the end the nagatoro and the mc stood for the president, showing that they didn't really hate her, but they respected her.

enjoyment: 8/10. if a show can make me feel second-hand embarrassment it's always enjoyable for me. esp the romance moments; and the credit scene!! god the credit scene had me crying tears of joy it was so wholesome

overal: 7.7/10. exceeded my expectations, and i'm sure it'll exceed yours too.
