I am of sound mind. I finished it five days ago, so now I can review it without bias. Takopii no Genzai had a superb setup, but a halfheartedly executed ending. The ending was so dull that it erased all the good writing that came before it. Yes, the writing was good. Yes, the manga used cheap emotional tropes to manipulate us.I could’ve forgiven all of that.
