Review of The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3

Great animation and voice acting attempting to rescue a story that continues to get weaker and weaker. That's how this show feels at this point. Not actually punishing or killing Malty in Season 1 has turned this into some kind of weekly team-rocket ridiculous villain-of-the-week show. Instead of focusing an a pretty interesting world and storyline, we keep sticking with this pathetic cast of side characters that all need redemptions arcs instead of getting abandoned as they should have been The first season showed so much potential with the gritty revenge plotline, but sadly it never goes back to those heights and only seems to grow moregeneric as time goes on.

Props to the animators and voice actors to keep it at this quality level, the story alone would've been a 3/10
