Review of Blue Period

blue period was a show I was on the fence about watching but I have no regrets about watching it. given the show is about art it shows a lot of art and talks about it a lot and I never felt like I was being lectured about art while still learning about art and I have a much larger appreciation for art after watching it. the characters felt very realistic and fit the story and the visuals are easily the best part of this show, despite this, I still feel it began to overstay its welcome around episode 8, the end is predictable soleads to it feeling drawn out resulting in me just feeling like screaming at the screen to just get on with it, the ending few episodes feel more about the characters rather than the overarching story and it focuses on a character despite being important isn't established beyond they do art and life is sad.

overall definitely give a watch
