Review of Chainsaw Man
Definitely one of the literary works of all time. Absolute Cinema would be an understatement. I don't know how to describe Chainsawman. To an average Joe, it would seem like just another average Shonen with cool visuals and Gore. But to me, it's so unfathomable. As I look beneath the cool visual aesthetic and high octane fights by MAPPA, all I see is emptiness in Denji's heart, the hopelessness in Aki's eyes, and the depressing mental state of every other character in the story. The world they live in is absolutely fucked, and yet they continue to carry on like it's just another Tuesday, with the samegrit. So little to live for, and yet they choose to live.
"It's not that deep bro"
Why yes, it is.
Chainsawman isn't deep.
It just is.
And we just see. Live. In this cramped life.
And we CHOOSE to Breathe.
Because that's the only proof we're Living.
