Review of Kaguya-sama: Love is War -Ultra Romantic-
My oh my! What a season it was!! Full of thrill, comedy, and Romance!!! After recapping the second season of Kaguya Sama, I always wondered what would happen to this anime in the final (presumably) season. And this one didn't disappoint me for a bit. Throughout the whole season, I was eager to know how the plot would unfold. And, you can say from my initial expressions, that this was a hell of an anime. As the love war tensed up between Kaguya and Miyuki, the story did not lose a bit of its charm. It increased further. The story was a masterpiece. I never imaginedthat topics like love can be described through such a plot. And it was totally relatable. The character progression, the art, the music, the moments, the team of this anime nailed every single of it.
The side characters also received their share of exposure. Even, characters like Hayasaka and Yu worked like perfect side characters in this story and had their own scenes. Not to mention Fujiwara, she was almost a main character in this anime.
All I can say is this anime left a good aftertaste and it's a masterpiece in this genre. (At the time of this writing, the rating is 9.14) I haven't read the manga yet, so I don't know if this will be the end of this series. But I sure hope to have a continuation of this one where the side characters like Yu, Kei, Chika, and Hayasaka get their own story.
