Review of Wonder Egg Priority: My Priority

My brief thoughts on the special and the series as a whole after just finishing the "final" episode: Firstly, adressing the special: as a finale, it's bsolutely terrible. As a setup for a possible second season, it's mediocre at best. The next season (if it ever ends up actually being made) needs to tie in all the loose threads, specially regarding Frill and her companions. It's really sad because I REALLY loved WEP and I had high hopes for it, however Clover Works has once again pulled a Darling in the Franxx, but at least then we had somewhat of a conclusion. This however shouldn't putanyone off to watching this show. It's one of those where the journey matters more than the destination (unfortunately, but it is what it is). Still a 10/10 anime for me because of what a rollercoaster ride it was and would highly recommend it. The art is absolutely stunning and has beautiful still shots, as well as fluid animation, the sound design and OST are also top notch, not to mention the very interesting and likeable characters.

TL;DR:If you can forgive this poor excuse of a finale and just appreciate the ride you had during it, it's a wonderful anime. And here's hoping for a second season to fix hopefully this mess, albeit I doubt it'd happen and I'm unsure if it'd actually be a good idea to do so.
