I was okay with this film, I didn't hate it, didn't love it, but I thought it was a decent effort and did what it wanted to do. I think that this film is quite forgettable even with the really interesting premise, and truth be told, it was really fun trying to figure out what was going to happen, but it fails to carry that really unique concept and create something special, which is what I personally felt. This movie reminded me of Studio Ghibli, there was an Isekai kind of concept within it, some supernatural and magic too and it centered around junior high schoolkids which was nice. I think there was an innocence in this movie that reminded me of Ghibli and a lot of the cat-related things made it feel very dreamy and whimsical.

I think what really bothered me about this movie was probably the pacing, it was really slow at times and felt like it was going nowhere until BANG things start happening. It was surprising because I didn't think things were going to be this ambitious ! There were also some things that I felt lacked motivations or did not make sense enough for me, we meet some characters and they act a certain way in the next scene which made me question things.

I think the characters were really cute though ! There was especially one scene that happened at school between the 2 MCs and it was done spectacularly well and I think that part really touched my heart.

I understand that this movie fails to deliver for a lot of the watchers and I too was feeling mediocre about it, but it really wasn't the worst honestly. I recommend to watch this for movie evening/night with your family ,, because it's visually stunning, quite adventurous, very innocent and an overall good time.
