Me think story good. Girl is shapeshifting monster and wants to eat boy, boy cooks for girl, girl like. Other monsters want boy, she fends them off. She slips up sometimes and almost eats boy. Boy likes this. Both in love. Good concept, fun execution, too briefly touched upon in first volume. Hopefully they explore the dynamic more in later chapters. The comedy was hit-or miss for me, my typical favorite humor I degen style humor/incel humor where the jokes are aimed more to people “in the know” with the topics, so this book wasn’t really a zinger for me because all the humor was general,or common stuff like accidental breast suffocation or saying “this aint a rom-com”. I also cant tell if the MC is suicidal, or just has a really huge hard-on for his shapshifting upper-class mommy who just wants a lil taste. Thinking about it, this is kinda similar to “boyfriend of the dead” with the wanting to eat them dynamic…even tho in the webtoon it was kept on the down low and after he didn’t want to, the truth of it came out like a freight train and haulted the story…unlike this book which handles it better by point blank having her tell him when the truth comes out. Tho I’d like to think its funny that both stories have parts where one of the main characters lets off a delicious aroma to sub-human who do eat humans, but like actual humans have their preferred tastes.

TL:DR – Not bad, I can see potential, but slow start. Also, will update review once other volumes are read.
