Another good content for the franchise, as I have said in other reviews, I feel that we should give more opportunities to the mangas and light novels since they tell us events that have not been seen in the games. Anyway, the novel tells us events that happen before DMC 5, among them how Nico and Nero meet and I was also surprised how Capcom remembered a certain character from DMC 2 anyways, it is relatively short and enjoyable and I leave it to your opinion if you consider it to be canon or not, as many in the fandom debate. So if you wereleft wanting more content from the franchise I highly recommend it part. Also unlike the previous novel (Devil May Cry 4 Deadly Fortune), this one does have decent or complete translations into English at least.
