6.4/10 I came into the story a bit optimistic. However, my optimism slowly but surely turned into boredom the more I read. Everything in this manwha: art, plot, characters, engagement and world building is summed up by one word: “mid.” Nothing about this is special nor different from the rest of its counterparts. With the lack of enticement in the art style, the fight scenes are quite boring and mellow. Along with this, the mc escapes his dangerous situations through some BS methods each time he is about to lose. No suspense, enticement, engagement or danger is ever apparent throughout the story. With a weak tostrong main character, each one of those elements need to be a strong core of the story. But don’t get me wrong, my favorite manwhas to read are about mcs who work hard to get strong, but this one doesn’t satisfy that desire. It’s readable but nothing fun.
