The Dropout 1☆ Magician Unconsciously Uses Cheats Today as Well · review
The other review left a harsh take on it that sold this manga off as a typical pity the MC fantasy but he's just OP with no sauce. The world does treat 1-stars as inhuman freaks and this commoner vs noble trope exists in a ton of other fantasy series for sure (i.e. Mashle, Wistoria: Wand and Sword, etc) but I appreciate the characterization put in place for both the main and side characters in this one. MC is a smart kid who steadily makes a name for himself and eventually gets out of hating his 1-star rating by being with people who value himfor his skills.
The MC truly learns to care for them and puts actual thought into their needs that it gets pretty heartwarming to read.
The dynamic between the characters is pretty cozy and the way the MC has to think through his battle encounters keeps me wanting more.
Give this manga a shot!
This is a world where 1 stars are worthless to most, but not all.
