How clumsy you are, Miss Ueno. · review
The premise of the manga is interesting on it's face: A girl genius introduces a variety of useful (and sometime's civilization-altering) gadgets in the science club with the ulterior motive of teasing/swooning the guy she likes who's also a member of the club. It follows the same formula of: 1) girl intriduces and explians gadget 2) guy tries gadget 3) Girl monologues her ulterior motive 4) Gadget backfires or someone causes a misfire 5) She ends up embarassed and yelling at her crush for the situation she cause 6) repeatUnfortunately, the gag gets a little tiresome over time and the overall story seems lacking since there's no resolution on her addressing her feelings for the guy she likes. There are some character growth moments from the MC in how she interacts with other schoolmates; which is nice, but not the one you'd hope between her and the crush
I did like the extra detail the translators gave in explaining the cultural significance of each gadget and mang reference in the afterword. Very useful for those that wanted to learn more about those tidbits.
I'd be more likely to recommend this if the main goal of the MC actually happened. Without it, it's just the same formula/gag each chapter (with very few exceptions).
