Spoiler warning

This review may discuss plot details.

This manga really is a gem among the troughs that is the popular manga and anime, Seven Deadly Sins. It shows the characterisation that was vaguely hinted at in the main series of how Fairies hated the Humans; Helbram initially trusting the Humans but then getting betrayed and getting his friends wings sold; Ban being the only one which the forest allowed through as he is the only pure-hearted bandit that has ever entered etc. Basically, this manga delves into these half-finished points and fleshes them out to really show the characterisations of the main, recognisable characters like Ban, Eliane and King but also someminor characters like Helbram and Zhivago, Ban's adopted dad. Usually, these side stories can be disappointing in that it is very simple and thus boring but this holds, in my opinion, the same emotions as the main anime, especially with Ban's and King's back stories but that could also just be because I really like them. Anyways, this is very surprisingly well-written and drawn and will definitely enjoy if you like the Seven Deadly Sins franchise.
