Review of Strike the Blood

This show is literal shit. There is no overall story, just a lot of story arcs with no depth and barely any connection. Every fight scene has the same lines at some point, and they are literally the worst lines I have ever heard, at least it seems that way after you hear them about ten times. So much of the plot is left unexplained because why explain something when it makes no sense? After all its better to leave your watchers completely clueless as to who some people are for the entirety of the show. Its so badit needs a second season just to fill in all the HUGE PLOT HOLES FOR WHICH EXPLANATIONS ARE NOT EVEN ATTEMPTED. However, the one thing this show does well is the art, and the soundtrack, while not being too noticeable, is actually kind of nice and enjoyable. If you want to watch young girls getting their blood sucked and mostly undressed, while calling the main character a pervert, I guess its ok. (Other anime do it better however in my opinion.) I guess overall its kind of an enjoyable waste of your time. However, quite a few shows do the same thing as this show (have a vampire main character in a harem setting), but they do it much better and more enjoyably.
