Story: Yes I understand ( WE ARE TIRED OF THE ISEKAI GENRE ) but This Isekai isn't as generic as the others I've seen. Simply put SAO was good during the first season. ROTSH is GREAT DURING IT'S FIRST SEASON! Basically four warriors are summoned into a world that needs their help in order to save it from waves upon waves of monsters. It turns out the Shield Hero has a much harder time compared to the other heroes as he is pushed and shoved into these unbearable task, aside from the fact that he is confused about his surroundings as well. His weapon isa shield meaning he can't do much. A interesting concept from a different perspective.

Art: The art style is great as well with the amazing creature spells and Use of magic, the scenes within this anime are show great detail and Are much better than it's other Isekai counterparts.

Sound: The intros done by MadKid are are a mix of Hard Rock and Electronic Music which is a great mix. just like Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas these guys make some lit music, regardless of MADKID Not being as heavy as FALILV. I'm not the biggest K-POP fan either, but I can listen to Korean music if it's good. Now then the Outros are beautifully done. Chiai Fujikawa makes some of the best music that you can feel with your feelings and emotions. Once I heard the outro to Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari I felt as if I was going to shed a tear from listening to the music as well as reading the subtitles. A song about Raphtalia wanting to her feelings to her master and friend, Naofumi Iwatani. and Yet he some how only sees her as a friend, which I hopea season two comes around, so we can see if they get together or Not. Regardless the intros and outros are amazing!

Character Development: There is character development from majority of characters! Naofumi, Raphtalia, and Filo as well. As they get stronger on their adventure to save the world from the monster waves. They face judgement, They face weakness, They face many problems that they must solve and The character development only gets better with the story.

Personal Enjoyment: At first I found the anime to be very generic and boring, but I started to like it more and more as friendships grew, Problems were solved, and Overall how the anime itself got better and better. Majority of time I started liking the anime and Enjoyed it with little to no problems.

Overall: I thought the show was GREAT! Nothing like Sword Art Online or Danmachi. Sword Art Online was good and bad here and there while Danmachi was just a downgraded SAO with fanservice which really annoyed me, A LOT! Rising of the Shield Hero does much better than it's counter parts. As it actually has character development and A good story. Which is why I find the anime to actually be good. Will it continue to be good next season? I hope so, as that would make the anime itself even better.

I rate Rising of the Shield Hero a 8 out of 10 Stars :D
