At 11 am: It says it won the 2017 CGI award and has a weird poster, let's watch an episode and drop if sucks. At 7 pm: Damn all episodes are completed already??? One word to describe this show: "Artistic" So what made me fall in love with the show? : 1) I had 0 expectations on this, just watched it cos someone said it was good 2) Didn't read any reviews or description of the showAnd lo behold I was captivated from the beginning and didn't even feel bored at any point of time, and the show ended before I even knew.

The story is about a dystopian place where only living things are gems who are led by a sensei, are constantly under attack from some aliens and our MC tries to find the answers to their way of living.

That's all you need to know, any amount more would just spoil the feel. Also for those who think this show is similar to Steven Universe, you are completely wrong, please totally remove your preconception that this was a copy but tbh this story was written prior to it (manga).

The Art is weird and everything looks as if you were watching a partially edited CGI, but after 2nd episode, you will start loving it ( cos I am a person who hates animation made by shaft but loved this). The fights are badass and everything looks artistic and beautiful.

Soundtracks are the key role in this anime as it was the main thing which captured my attention and it acted like a blanket covering all the flaws in animations and story. The op song is really soothing and peaceful.

Although the show looks as if It moves at a faster pace but there is a very little story but It teaches some life improving topics like "coming out of your shell or lies" but also making you think about what lies ahead if you leave this 'lie' (which many anime fail to do)

My advice to everyone is to give a shot, watch 2 episodes and if you hate it then drop, but I am sure this is definitely one of those shows which is worth watching once in a lifetime without any regret.
And since the story is still in starting phase with not much revealed, I guess only this season is worth the watch cos some story are worth for their potential but can't be handled for a long time as it might get boring or maybe you just want to live in that 'lie' of yours perhaps :P
