Review of Tsukigakirei

This cute little romance has been on my list for awhile, and then only reason I decided to pick it up now is because of a loot crate item I got! (cute towel with the pink squishy potato mascot)... Now, let's get right into the anime basics. Story; You begin at the start of spring, the new school year has started and all the third years are trying to find their new classrooms of their last year of middle school. Akane Mizuno and Kotarou Azumi don't know it yet, but their paths are made to be intertwined by what seems like fate in their final yearof middle school. You get to enjoy anxiety pre-teens enjoy their days with club, town events, romance and friendship. Art; I've watched a lot more anime's from the Studio "feel." then I've expected... this animation had an interesting feel and I think my favourite part was the colour/saturation scheme... the colours of the overall anime are slightly duel, but you know when the important parts are coming up when everything gets a bit more colourful/bright! Sound; Nice to put an anime to the song once again! I loved the OST, super sweet just like the feelings of this anime. Character; My least favourite part about this anime was probably the characters... not the main cast, but "could be" love interests. Chinatsu and Takumi were only needed to build the main relationship... but they had do it in SUCH an annoying way!

Overall, I really enjoyed this anime. It was quick, cringy in the best way possible and ended with a happy note <3
Really makes me want to buy one of the pink, squishy potato mascots!
