Review of Devilman: Crybaby

i wanted to appreciate it so much more than i actually have but this series was all in all really depressing. there was a lot of potential in the first couple of episodes and the whole devil/demon theme was speaking to me (fan of those monsters vs humans things, you know) but you just notice it rushing a lot. i guess it's not the best idea to try to fit such a big story into 10 episodes, but it wasn't just the rush. there were a lot of moments where i felt really uncomfortable, either because of some tragic events or filthy sexual scenes (notthat i'm not a fan, just in this particular dark atmosphere it made me feel uncomfortable). of course it's just perspective and i can imagine why people love it (art, characters, emotions, crazy demons, story(i guess??).. that was all nice). but for me it's just more important how i'm feeling after watching it and that is: like shit
