A Mark Against Thee · review
An underrated masterpiece, truly a wonderful discovery. You shouldn't drop off because of the weird art, because you will be missing so interesting thoughts and perspectives about justice, right and evil, blame, sorrow, madness, loneliness, sadness, and pain, to name a few. Each backstory brings a new light to the story. It is definitely targeting a mature audience (not so much about violence but about questioning our current society). After reading it, I don't see previously incarcerated people the same way. This is not a webtoon just to read, but to also question oneself. - aren't we as individuals too fast to blame a "presumed murderer"?- aren't we too nasty against the family of a criminal, disregarding their own sorrow?
- is it right or wrong to take revenge? At least reasonable/understandable?
- to which extent do you help a friend in need?
And so on.
