Hebi no Yama · review
It was a decent one shot. The theme it dwells into isn't unseen before. I would rather say that it is one of the most common themes in one shots, as it often makes the reader feel that they have read some deep story in a short time. Its short length often works in their favour, with sort of vague explanation giving it the mysterious look which further elevates the "deepness" of the story. In that aspect, it tells a fair to middling tale, with no prominent flaws visible. But similar to its flaws, there were not any noteworthy highs either which it was able toreach. It tells a decent tale and gets its work done, so that I can put it in the completed section. Characters were fine as well, with character designs, similarly, fine. The art varied from decent to good but didn't touch the great barrier for me.
