I adore the somewhat niche genre of MMORPG manga, and this is a very well executed if somewhat flawed instance of that niche. You can definitely tell the author has some level of MMO experience, with there being a lot of background lore to the setting (that you know 99% of players aren't engaging with, like all MMOs), lots of races and classes and customisation. However this style of skill and gear based MMO comes with a LOT of text upon level up, and you end up just kinda glazing over it all so it can be somewhat shocking when a new move comes out ofseemingly nowhere.

I do however like how each thing acquired feels like a natural extension of how Anastasia plays the game, that sort of scattered "Oh wait I can do this?! Let's try experimenting with it" style of play resonates with me as someone who does that entire too much in games, MMO or not. And while this does get a bit absurd at times (the most recent couple of books pushes the boundaries of "Yeah this would happen in an MMO" a bit too far imho, it's usually relatively grounded.

The interactions between Anastasia and the other players also feels natural, if a bit "Oh look at the MC isn't she great" at times. MMO players of all types exist and it's nice to see those reflected here, from the raiders to the crafting enthusiasts to the roleplayers it's nice to see everyone in the community reflect people you'd meet in an actual MMO rather than an outsiders version of it.

That all being said, this does descend into "Cute girl does cute things" a great deal, and that can take away from readers who want to explore the ideas and concepts the world and the MMO itself showcases during Anastasia's journey. She's a bit too scatterbrained with her goals, and it often feels like she's finally making real progress towards one when something will distract her.

It's a bit of a mixed bag of a manga, but if you enjoy this style of slower paced fantasy mmo manga you will definitely enjoy this.
