Haha, seriously, how can i possibly say about The House in Fata Morgana ? I'll talk about both the light novel and the visual novel, both are peak. Let's just say Fata is about 8 door, the main character will have to go through those doors, each door has it's own story and tales with the length probably more than 3 hours, all of that tales and story all happend in the same manor in each era of time, here is a little review : - Door 1 : ( 5/10 ) The story tells us about the complicated relationship between the two Rhodes brothers, and NellRhodes's feelings for a mysterious white-haired girl. At the end there will be a plot twist, the pacing is very slow, the plot is nothing too special, but the plot twist is quite engaging and quite engaging, the characters are not too special. , it's normal and bland
- Door 2 : ( 7/10 )
Personally, I quite like this door, telling the story of a beast trying to integrate with humans, eliminating his bloodthirsty instinct, but it increasingly fails and becomes more bloodthirsty than before, but gradually changes. when he meets a mysterious white-haired girl. The plot is really disturbing and suspenseful, the plot twist of this door is even more shocking and better than door 1, some characters are exploited quite well like Pauline, and near the end, the monster's true identity will shock you
- Door 3 : ( 6,5/10 )
A story about an awkward cycle between two couples, Jacopo and the mysterious white-haired girl. This door exploits character psychology and emotions quite well, but when it comes to the plot, it's really not too thrilling, some of the episodes and the past are very boring, on the other hand, the plot twist will happen at this time. appears in the middle of the story instead of at the end as usual, but the emotions of the character in question are quite captivating and worth reading
- Door 4 : ( 4/10 )
This is probably the most boring door in the whole series, but its boredom has a purpose, because unlike other doors, the story it tells is not real but is created by the main villain ( the owner of the manor )made up by herself. One point is that the character are not well-tell since the pacing is too fast and not quite emotional. BUT TRUST ME, after going through this door, the novel will bring you to the gate of heaven, ONE OF THE BEST PIECE OF FICTION OF ALL TIME, im not joking
~~~ Ok, probably you may be wonder, why is there's a white-haired girl in every single tales ? Is she immortal ? No, those girl are 4 different person and their true identity may shock you out ~~~
- Door 5 : ( 9,25 /10 )
Ahh, here we come the 2 best written characters of all series, Michel and Giselle, tells the story of Giselle's unlucky and incomprehensibly miserable situations, and the mysterious problems that Michel is facing. Maybe from the beginning, the two people seem strange and even dislike each other, but Fate brought the two people together, but at the end of the story, a tragedy occurred. Each detail and situation it presents is captivating, breathtaking and dramatic, it is inexplicably touching. The emotions and psychology of both characters (but mainly about Giselle) are mentioned very well, trust me and play until door 5 and by then, even if you want to quit, you can't. It actually made me cry in some scenes and had a great impact on the reader's emotions
- Door 6 : ( 8,5/10 )
Instead of continuing other stories like the previous doors, door 6 continues the story of the previous door. Exploiting Giselle's psychology and anticipation in waiting for the man her love dearly to come back, the plot twist of this door is closely linked to the first 3 doors. And at this point you realize: THEY'RE ALL CONNECTED, THEY'RE NOT SOME STRANGES STORY AND RANDOM TALES, THEY'RE ALL CONNECTED. The incredibly cruel introduction of Morgana (the main villain) takes readers to a deeper level of emotions and character building, each detail in the story from this door onwards never disappoints. or bores the readers
Morgana's backstory : ( 9,5/10 )
Although her past review after door 6 which is still in arc door 6, but i still wanna divide into a single review. Her backstory can be summed up in just one word: Suffering. All her origin, her childhood, her journey is nothing but pain. Refers to a deeper layer of her religious beliefs and her beliefs and thoughts towards it. Exploited very deeply about Fata's world building, a world with many problems at that time, each situation, story, arc all exploited the psychology and emotions of the characters at that time very well. , what is the character thinking at that time and how intense is the ideological struggle. Literally one of the best backstory i've ever read
- Door 7 ( 9,5 /10 )
The story that this door refers to is the problematic past of Michel (door 5's character). Not being able to follow the path he wanted from birth, having to follow the path set by others, Michel decided Act according to your heart. If it comes to situations and details, it is also built quite well but not too well, but each character's psychology and emotions when inside the door and after escaping the door are very very good, most of them feel very good. Readers' emotions and tears will fall on this arc, when the hearts of two people, despite different circumstances but with the same fate, come together, a love so beautiful that it's hard to describe
- Door 8 - The final door ( 10/10 )
Seriously, if you made it this far, congratulations, you met the top tier drama here, in this door you can interact with the previous door's character, have a deeper understand about their feelings, their ACTUAL story, what have they going through. The characters are heartbreaking, phenomenal, and incredibly well-written. It features one of the best written antagonist I have ever seen, with dynamics that are nearly perfect between Michel and Giselle. The arc is truly something else, the emotion, the touching that too damn hard to describe by words, the ending is so beautiful and very emotional
The House in Fata Morgana is one of the best novel/VN i've ever played or read, I would highly recommend you this piece of fiction. The emotion, the tears that it takes from you is real, it's something so beautiful
"No, Giselle,
Don't Worry
You don't have to wait anymore"
