Review of Kakushigoto

The premise of this story is fantastic. Not very often we get a single parent set anime and i can't help but feel the anime has not used it to its full potential. I have not read the manga so perhaps the manga does but from some one going in pretty much blind only knowing the set up I can't help but feel there was more to be offered here Spoilers ahead from here!! I felt the biggest problem that up until the last episode Gotou felt very one dimensional he never really goes beyond the "i must not let my daughter discover what i workas" guy until near the end of the show. I can't say this show had me laughing out loud or feeling sad as certain parts were going for but it certainly does have it's heart warming moments and it does make for a pleasant watch over all.

I wasn't keen on the animation style when i first seen it and by the end i wouldn't say i liked or disliked it.

Fantastic opening and closing I very much enjoyed them nothing during the actual show really stood out though

overall it is a relaxing show to watch and some of the interactions between Gotou and Hime are very heart felt and they feel like a father and daughter getting along well. I think a 24ep run would have been a great benefit to this show so we didn't have to well rushed towards the end and could have seen more characters develope but I think the ending was decent enough as stuck the landing well enough

7/10 for me. Worth the watch but just lacking a small bit to make it great
