Review of KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! 3

It was great to see Konasuba come back with all guns blazing. Let's call this the Lalatina season. It was so good to see that Darkness wasn't just big breasts and clumsiness. Her backstory and current travails were much more interesting than the spin off they did of Megumin's life as a Crimson Demon. In fact, Meg was pretty much relegated to a background role this season. Aqua was her regular space cadet self, chaos personified. And Kazuma never disappoints with his heroic pervy hijinks. It was good to see some of the side characters like Yun Yun, Wiz, and Vanir getting in some facetime as well. Yep the gang was all here.

The artwork was as to be expected from the previous productions. I thought the animation production levels were a little better, probably due to more budget to work with. The VAs once again ranked supreme. No way would Konosuba work half as well without this well-oiled machine of a cast. And the director used them perfectly, doing a nice balancing act between comedy, drama and action.

Practice makes perfect I guess, and I think this season might have been the best yet. If I was grading it's a 95/100 for a solid A. And damned near as I could grade and not give it a 10. So close to a masterwork. Maybe one more stellar season like this, and I will break down. Serve yourself up some Konasuba. It's like a sumptuous feast.
