Review of Vinland Saga Season 2

I don’t get the hate for Season 2 — people who hate on it seriously missed the point. Rather than focusing on flashy animation and clean movements, Vinland Saga has become a very still but stunningly beautiful show, with some fantastic direction. Season 2 slows things down to focus on character growth, trauma, and the cost of violence, which makes the story hit much deeper. One of the best developments I’ve seen in anime is Thorfinn’s. He was once a broken child shaped by violence, who has grown into a man worthy of respect. Everything was just spectacular this season. Suffice to say: Watch Vinland SagaS2. Because it just landed on my top 10.
