Review of [Oshi No Ko]

Another show that proves that the overall rating for an anime is not to be trusted all the time. The show was like a star shooting up high then slowly to quickly crashing down. The first episode set up the show for an interesting story but the atmosphere/suspense kept getting drier by the episode. Combine the fact that no character stood out. All the girls seemed similar not just the way they sounded/talked but the way they looked. One of the biggest let downs of the show was the male protagonist. He was the driest/blandest of all the characters in this show. Instead of asophisticated/entertaining build up throughout the series, it was just generic filler for the most part. Was hoping that the show would have a big explosive moment in the middle of the show like some other anime do that drives the show back up in enjoyment/hype but as each episode went on it was just disappointing. Had to finish it in 2x speed. If you watch shows just for the background while working out/doing other tasks or like bright colors this show might be decent, otherwise a pass.
