This anime is more for the Geki! Chumai audience that are familiar with Irodorimidori in the Ongeki, Chuntihm and maimai games. Due to that, I can't really recommend this anime as it would be subpar just watching it alone, even though I enjoyed it as a Chunithm and maimai player. The story is short with cliches, though it is meant to show the characters' personalities which arent usually shown in Chunithm other than manga panels. The characters portrayed in this season is quite flat unfortunately. I think people that play any of the 3 games mentioned would enjoy this somewhat, and first time comers to the franchise mightbe turned off.
